Maxine L. Binns, founding and managing partner, advises on Bermuda wills, probate, administration of local estates, the use of private trusts, small business organization and succession planning generally.

Mrs. Binns started her legal career as a Corporate Administrator and later as a Corporate Group Manager with the law firm of Appleby (Bermuda) in 1989, predominately managing shipping and aviation companies, partnerships and carrying on commercial transactions generally. In later years, her primary area of practice has been on succession planning and international and domestic trusts, gaining exposure to private banking and trusts while working in the Legal Department of HSBC Bank of Bermuda Limited from 2007 to 2010.

Education

Mrs. Binns received her LLB (Hons) Law degree from Buckingham University, in Buckinghamshire, England and postgraduate degree from BPP Law School in London, England.  Upon completion, Mrs. Binns was called to the England and Wales Bar and the Bermuda Bar.
